Frequently asked questions

Booking your wedding florist

Q: When should we book our wedding florist?
Florists get booked up fast! I open my books about 18 months ahead, and most couples book between 12–15 months before. So if you’ve found a style you love, don’t hang around!

Q: What happens after we enquire?
Once you get in touch, I’ll offer a time for a quick call to chat through your ideas and hear more about your plans. From there, I’ll create an inspiration board and price guide. If it all feels like a good match with your wedding vision, you can secure your date with a booking fee.

About six months before the big day, we’ll dive into the details, looking at mood boards, schedule a venue visit, and share design mock-ups. You’ll get a full quote and payment schedule too.

Just before your wedding, we’ll do a final check-in to confirm everything. Then on the day, I’ll handle all the setup so you can relax and enjoy your wedding morning!

Flower choices, design & styling

Q: I don’t know anything about flowers – is that a problem?
Not at all! It’s my job to guide you. During our consultation, we’ll chat through what you love (and don’t), even if you don’t know the flower names.

Q: Can we share our Pinterest board?
Yes, please do! It’s a great way to share ideas and build a feel for your day. We’ll keep adding to it once you're booked in too.

Q: Are vases included in the price?
We have a lovely collection of vases and vessels you’re welcome to use — it’s all included in the quote if we’ve got them in stock. If you’re after something specific, we can have a chat to see what will work for us both. A heads up, we don’t work with hire items from other suppliers for insurance reasons.

Pricing & payment

Q: Is there a minimum spend?
Yes - our minimum is £1,000 (from January 2025). We might be flexible in certain cases, so feel free to ask.

Q: Can we pay in instalments?
Absolutely. We’re happy to set up a payment plan, as long as the full amount is settled 6 weeks before the big day.

After the wedding

Q: Do you preserve bridal bouquets?
Not just yet — but watch this space!

Q: What happens to the flowers after the day?
There are a few options. The flowers themselves can be gifted to family and friends. For vases or bowls, we can offer a ‘wrap and go’ service the next day - we’ll come back to the venue, gather the blooms out of the vases/vessels and turn them into mini bouquets for you to share with your guests!
