Working with Bonnie Blooms as your wedding florist
If you are reading this then I hope it's because you've seen our work, love what we do or we've been recommended to you.
I love chatting to our clients and building a good relationship is really important to me. We appreciate that your wedding day is a really significant day for you and we want to play a part in making the planning and day itself memorable.
From our initial consultation, my aim is to get an understanding of you, your wants and your budget and help build the wedding day you've always wanted.
Your flowers are a reflection of you, your style, your theme and your personality and I will work with you to deliver your vision.
Intro call
Our intro call will be a 30 - 60 minute phone or video call where we will chat all things venue(s), bridal party and any focal floral arrangements you think you'd like to include. Our aim at the end of this call is to:
Get along and feel like we can work together (really important!)
For us to have an understanding of your wedding vision
Understand your budget
Understand the non-negotiables
Budget and pricing
When planning a wedding one of the key factors for both you and your suppliers is budget, and for some reason people still don't like talking about it.
It can be difficult to set a budget if you aren't familiar with weddings or the industry and we appreciate that. While budgets need to be realistic, it is my job to advise on what realistic looks like based on your vision and expectations.
Even if we can't promise you will get everything on your Pinterest board for your budget, we can promise that we will be open and honest around pricing and helping you reach a reasonable compromise if that's what's needed.
Moodboards, mock ups and price guides
Depending on how far in advance you enquire, will depend on how we proceed after the consultation call.
We normally work on a two-phase approach to help you really see your wedding flower vision come to life.
Step 1 - we will produce a inspiration board accompanied by a price guide. Reasons we avoid doing full mood boards and in-depth pricing guides at this stage is because we know things can change, whether that’s quantities, style or overall budget. The inspiration board is designed to ensure we are both aligned after our call and the price guide is to help you budget. It is after this that you would then pay your booking fee.
Step 2 - around 6-months before, we will meet up or arrange a video call to go through your plans in-depth. This meeting could take place at the venue or we could meet up for a coffee. We will pull together a full mood board with descriptions and a detailed pricing structure. Large installations like floral mantles and floral arches will be mocked up and designed so you can start to build a vision of how epic the arrangements will be on the day.
